And then there were none~ this nasty bug that has gone through 3 of our 4 kids has finally struck the lonely unsick child. Kevin finally caught it last night- poor baby had a fever of 102.2 and just couldn't get any sleep. I let him lay on the couch and watch tv in hopes he would fall asleep. Poor thing. Luckily, this icky virus has only stayed with them 24 hours- so it is fast moving. I am really hoping and praying (and Lysoling) that it ends with them. Neither Michael nor myself want what ever this virus is.
Some good news:
My garden is doing well. The tomatoes aren't doing anything yet. The green pepper plants are doing fantastic. My cucumbers are climbing like crazy. We found a surprise watermelon growing and found a little baby one. Eggplants are finally doing something. The red and lilac peppers aren't doing anything yet. The grapes are still growing. Our squash plants finally kicked the bucket. And the strawberry plants- well one is still dead and the other is getting a little more green each day. So, we shall see what happens with them. I think I covered all my plants- oh wait- zucchini- they aren't doing anything yet either.
Here are some pictures of our garden:

We are so excited and blessed with our crop this year. It is no where near last year but the garden is producing some things- so we are thrilled. We are being patient and know that God will bless us.
With this crazy weather, how is your garden doing this year?
