Our Menu Plans for the week of 04/24/2022

These last 2 weeks have been very testing :) First, we had our day long tax event (trying to get our taxes done), then the Internet got disconnected but that led us to discover a better Internet company and then last week, our dishwasher died.  You never really understand how many dishes you go through in a day until you have to hand wash them all. I was not prepared for the appliance prices.  I pretty sure they weren't this high the last time we bought a dishwasher.

We are very thankful that our taxes have been filed, we have a faster and better Internet company, and the new dishwasher has been installed.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that we won't run into anymore "fun" surprises any time soon :)

Our Menu Plan for the week of 04/17/2022

How was your weekend?

After our tax filing "fun" our Internet got disconnected :( We have been waiting for 9 long months for our Internet provider to come and bury the temporary line they set up. Unannounced, a company showed up to bury the line disconnecting our line in the process :( A technician showed up from the Internet company to reconnect the disconnected line.  Only problem, they didn't reconnect our Internet.  We called and the Internet company had no knowledge as to what was going on :( They told us they could send someone out to finish the job in a week.  Ummmm, excuse me, what?? Did they really say we would need to wait a week for someone to come out and finish the job that should have been done?  I was not a happy camper. Luckily, our neighbor had just signed up with T-Mobile Home Internet and was loving it.  Faster speeds, no lag and half the price.  Sign me up :) So far, we are having a great experience. We will see how long it lasts. 

If you know of a good Internet company, please post in the comments. I would love to have another Internet company in my back pocket should we need to switch again.
