Our Internet has been temporarily "fixed".  The Internet guy said that the builders a few lots over damaged the line.  He set up a temporary line and it should get fixed soon, hopefully :)

For those wondering how vegan week went last week :)  It didn't last long.  The boys went along with the dinners but abandoned breakfast and lunch at day 3 :)  They have no desire to continue this week :)

Our Menu Plan for the week of 10/10/2021

How was your weekend :)  

We had a very eventful weekend.  But not the events we would have hoped for :(  

It all started Friday night with a window shaking thunderstorm.  It was loud and terrifying.  Thankfully, it only lasted for a few hours and we were able to finally get to sleep.  We awoke Saturday morning with no water and no Internet :(  We got the water working but unfortunately the Internet will need professional help that can't come out here until Thursday of this week :(  No worries, we ran to the library to stock up on books and dvd's and to use their Internet :)  We decided to run some errands on Sunday but first my vehicle told me to put air in one of my tires.  It was flat :(  Evidentially, I had run over a screw.  Change of plans, off to the mechanic we went.  And of course, the screw was in just the right area that he couldn't repair the tire, he needed to replace the tire.  It's now Monday and surprisingly life without the Internet is not that bad.  It really opened my eyes to just how much we not only rely but are on it every single day.  I told the boys to imagine that we were in one of the campground cabins with no Internet. So far so good :)

Our menu for this week is going to be quite different.  Our youngest saw a vegan challenge he wanted to try.  But he wanted it to start today, that is why you will see our last meat meal we had on Sunday.
