Our Store Experiment Challenge~ September

I was super impressed with Lauren from Iamthatlady.com and her ability to design a meal plan for her family of 6 for under $150.  And she did it all shopping at Aldi's.

Since, we do not have an Aldi's near us, I wanted to see what I could do with the same meal plan and the stores I have available to us for our family of 6.

Here is how we did:

$1.98- Celery
$8.64- Cheddar Cheese

With some pretty awesome sales and using a few items from our pantry, we did a pretty great job of keeping it under $150- yay :)  I am so impressed.

To see Lauren's price break down and the recipes she used for her meal plan, visit her website.  If you have an Aldi's near by, Lauren also offers a printable pack for under $2.  That gives you detailed recipes, menu planner and a shopping list :)  My family loved all the recipes in this menu plan :)
