Our Super Fun Saturday

The boys were super excited when they found out that we were going to Manatee Park in Fort Myers.  Nathan asked if we were going to get to see some manatees.  We kept our fingers crossed we would.

The park was great.  At the beginning, there are some clip boards with educational activities for young and older children.  Hooray for educational field trips :)

The boys had fun learning all about the similarities of manatees to that of humans.  They also learned about some of the wildlife, trees and plants that are native to Florida.  Even though we didn't see any manatees, everyone had fun and learned.

Here are some pictures of our trip:

Wanted to get all my boys picture from tallest to smallest- well you can see that just didn't happen :)
There is an All About Manatees talk that we missed.  The boys want to come back for that and to see if they can see the manatees next time.  We found out that the manatees make their appearance between November and March.  We must have just missed them :(  Well, there is always next time :)

I can't wait to see where our next Saturday Family Adventure takes us.
