Our Big Annoucement

I love seeing everyone's face when we tell them we have a big announcement to share with them.  And for the record, we are NOT expecting.  That seems to be the popular guess:)  I wouldn't mind having more little ones but that is not in our cards.

The company my hubby works for has decided that a relocation is in order for us.  We were supposed to get our house fixed up, sell it and buy my dad's house but that is not going to happen.

For those who have been reading my blog for some time now have seen our grocery budget continue to shrink.  We started out at $400 a month, then decreased to $300 a month and now are trying to keep as close as we can to a $200 a month grocery budget.  A $200 monthly grocery budget for a family of 6 has been interesting :)

We have been praying for financial guidance.  And this relocation came up.   We prayed on this relocation making sure it was the right decision for our family.  So far, everything is lining up great.  This job would mean not only more money but Michael would be home more and not have to travel as often.  Which is a huge plus for us.  The traveling part of his job has put a huge strain on our marriage but we kept the faith and everything has worked out so far.

Unfortunately accepting this job means moving over 900 miles away from family and friends.  So far, everyone has been very supportive and wants what is best for our family.  We are so very blessed to have such caring and supportive family and friends.

We have accepted the relocation offer and will be moving to the Fort Myers, FL area at some point.  Not sure if we are going to be going down before or after or house sells.  We are awaiting the company's decision.  They are flying hubby and I down to look at houses and rentals next week.  Things seem to be rocking and rolling the right direction.

So, now we seem to be in a race to get our house fixed up and packed and to make this huge transition.

So as it stands now, Florida~ here we come :)
