Our Florida House Hunting Trip

As many of you know, we are being relocated to sunny Florida in a few weeks.  We are excited about this new journey in our lives.

The area we are moving to is beautiful- we absolutely love it:)  There are only 3 roads getting to Cape Coral, it is almost like its own little island.

We had hoped to do some sight seeing while in Florida and kid less, but that just didn't happen.  We were so busy looking for apartments, houses for rent, houses for lease, houses for sale- whew, we were exhausted by the time we came home.  We did get a brief chance to see the Gulf of Mexico and get some shells that Nathan and Michael had requested.

After driving through several counties around the Fort Myers area, our hearts were set on Cape Coral.

Instead of all the boring trip details, here are some pictures we took while house hunting in Florida:
We had just gotten used to the possibility of alligators when we saw this sign- YIKES!!

And we just got awesome news today~ we found and put the security deposit down on a rental- YAY!!!!  We were starting to get discouraged, we would find a house that we liked only to find out it had just been rented.  We lucked out with this house- it is a lot bigger than our current house- what will I do with all the space?  :)
