Air Force JROTC & Kevin

This is Kevin's first year of Air Force JRTOC and he is loving it.  We are so proud of his accomplishments.  You should have seen the huge smile on his face when he came home with his first set of ranks.  He has been staying after school and participating in the Color Guard.  He was so excited when he got his Color Guard cord.

Both Kevin and Christopher have worked so hard for all their accomplishments. Which makes it so hard to say goodbye to the AFJROTC program. We just found out that due to the lack of students in the JROTC program that the Air Force has decided to pull its program from our high school.  It makes me so sad to hear this.  I have seen what the JRTOC program has done for 2 of my children. 

But for the rest of this school year, we will continue to support our children and look forward to seeing what they can accomplish this school year.
