Purex Crystals for Baby Review & Giveaway

I was super excited to test out Purex Crystals for Baby.

Before you get all excited thinking why I would want to test out a baby product when I don't have any "babies" anymore?  The answer is no- we are not expecting:)  At first glance at Purex Crystals for Baby, I was going to pass on testing this product.  We have used Purex Crystals in the past and both Nathan and I broke out in a horrible rash- it was not fun.

Then I started reading about how safe Purex Crystals for Baby is 87% natural, hypoallergenic, dye free and safe to use on all clothes even little one's sleepwear.

So, I decided to sign up and see how gentle this product was.  I can definitely say Purex Crystals for Baby did not disappoint.  The fragrance it leaves on your clothes in not too perfumy but not to light- it is just right.  And the best part, both Nathan and I have not broken out using this product.  It makes our clothes so soft and snuggly:)

Purex Crystals for Baby is so easy to use, just fill the top to the line according to your wash load and pour the crystals in your washer right along with your laundry detergent- add your clothes- close the lid and walk away.  No more listening and waiting for the rinse cycle to run into the laundry room and carefully pour the fabric softener into your washer.

Want to experience Purex Crystals for Baby for yourself?  You are in luck.  Purex gave me 3 coupons good for 1 free 28oz bottle of Purex Crystals for Baby to bless my readers with.  To enter, just comment below.  This giveaway will end on 02/24/2013.  Winners will be randomly selected and contacted on 02/25/2013.

After commenting below, head on over to the Purex website and enter their sweepstakes.  One lucky Grand Prize winner will receive $1,000 and 250 additional winners will receive free bottles of Purex Crystals for Baby.

**Purex provided me with a sample of Purex Crystals for Baby in exchange for a product review.  However, all opinions expressed here are my own**

Lowes Build & Grow Clinic~ 02/09/2013

Lowes will be hosting a Build & Grow Clinic on February 9, 2013 at 10am.

If you are looking for a great free activity that you can do with your kids- you should check out the Lowes Build & Grow Clinics. Little Michael and Nathan love them. They love being able to do hands on projects with our help.

This Saturday, Lowes Build and Grow Clinic will be building a Wheel of Love.  Nathan doesn't want to build this, he said it is too girly:)  Little Michael doesn't care, he wants to hammer something:)

To sign up for this Build & Grow Clinic, simply go to the Lowes Build & Grow Clinic website, which they have redone to make it more user friendly. I am loving this new website. You register all your information. Then when you visit the website to sign up for an upcoming clinic, all you have to do is sign in and check which kids you are signing up. Don't forget to print and sign the waiver. And you and your child(ren) are ready for a really cool FREE hands on project.

Once you and your child(ren) complete the project they will receive a neat patch to put on their Lowes Build & Grow apron. If this is your first clinic, your child(ren) will receive a free Lowes Build & Grow apron and goggles:) The more clinics you do, the more patches you get to put on your kids apron and they can show them off with pride:)

My Declutter Goal for the week of 02/04/2013

As you may recall, I am working on getting my kitchen cleared out and clutter free:)  Due to our very hectic schedule, this project was going to take me more than 1 week to complete.  I did get a couple of things accomplished last week, not as many as I had hoped to get done.  But some is better than none:)  Let's see how much I can get done this week.

Here is a recap of my kitchen declutter goals:

1) Clean off my kitchen table~ done and so excited

2) Clean off my kitchen counters

3) Go through lowers cabinets

4) Go through upper cabinets

5) Scrub stove

6) Scrub oven

7) Clear off table with phone and go through cookbooks~ done- went through all the cookbooks I have acquired over the years and have decided to get rid of the ones I haven't opened at all in years.

8) Organize pantry

9) Scrub refrigerator inside and out

10) Scrub kitchen floor

11) Paint under sink before counter install

If you are in need of a declutter challenge in your home- feel free to hop on in and join me in my journey to get our house uncluttered, cleaned and company ready.  If you have a room in your house you want to get under control~make a plan to get it done this week. Make a list of what you need to accomplish for that 1 room. Use what available times and days you have to get the list of your projects done. I will update later this week and show you the progress we have made in our kitchen:)

Menu Plan for the week of 02/04/2012

Well, Chris came home all happy saying he heard we are getting more snow over night- we shall see.  Today was a super busy day.  I actually left the house promptly at 8am to do my grocery shopping.  I had no problem finding parking spots up close:)  The stores were quiet:)  I was home by 11:30am.  I am thinking about doing my grocery shopping in the morning here on out- we will see how that goes.  I had to get up and out early this morning because Nathan had a dentist appointment this afternoon.  We had good reports from the dentist- no cavities and his molars are 60% in, which explains why Nathan's mouth was not feeling right- poor thing just didn't know the words to let me know his mouth was aching.  Let's see how this week flows:)

Here is our menu plan for this week:

Breakfast
Baked Oatmeal X2
Oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins X2
PB Toast with banana
Pancakes
Strawberry & Cream Cheese muffins

Lunch
Sandwich, popcorn and banana

Dinner
Chicken Pot Pie
Pancakes at IHOP
Chili
Chili potatoes with green beans
Spanish Rice with corn
Pasta Alfredo with mixed veggies
Spaghetti with corn and homemade rolls

Snacks and desserts
Apple Slices with PB
Sliced carrots
Popcorn
Homemade fudge

What yummy treats do you have on your menu plan for this week?
