Our Menu Plan for the week of 05/15/2017

How was your weekend?  We hope that everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day.  We didn't do anything special for Mother's Day here.  We just stayed at home.  Mother's Day is hard for me.  Mother's Day was the last day I saw my mom, talked to my mom or hugged my mom.  I had no way of knowing that she would pass away a few short days later.  Even though almost 6 years has passed it hasn't gotten any easier.  It hurts still the same.  So, we don't anything for Mother's Day.  But for those that celebrate, we hope you had a fantastic day :)

Here is our menu plan for this week:

Breakfast
Overnight Oats with fruit X2
Waffles with fruit X2
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip muffins with fruit X2
Bagels with fruit

Lunch
Rainbow Power Bowl and fruit for me
Sandwich with carrots, apple slices, blueberries and grapes for everyone else or leftovers

Dinner
Cheesy Italian Pasta with green beans
Tacos with carrots
Spaghetti with peas and garlic bread
Pancakes and fruit
Soup with grilled cheese
Sausage Gravy over biscuits with eggs for Christopher's Birthday
Mini Corn Dogs with carrots

Snacks and Desserts
Apples
Grapes
Bananas
Strawberries
Blueberries
Popcorn
Pretzels
Tortilla Chips with salsa
Frozen Chocolate Bananas
Peanut Butter Protein Balls
Chocolate Chia Pudding
Avocado Brownie
Cookies
