Hubby discovered a brand new grocery store 20 miles north of us that he has heard me talk about. They had their grand opening a few months ago. We decided to make the trip up to Port Charlotte and what this store was all about. It might help if I tell which store it is, wouldn't it? It was Aldi's. I have heard so many great things about Aldi's but the closest to us was an hour and a half away- boo :( I was so excited when hubby told me that they were building an Aldi's a few counties north of us.

I was super surprised about the price of their produce, veggies, eggs, bread, coffee, etc :) The boys were happy to be able to get chips that would normally cost of $2 a bag. I did splurge a little this week :) With all the produce I found, we didn't even need to make a Farmer Market or Co Op trip this week.
This shopping trip has been added to our June Monthly Spending post, where I keep track of what we spend for the month of June.
