Our Menu Plan for the week of 03/30/2015

As we say Good Bye to March, we say Hello to April :)  Warmer weather :)

We hope everyone had a nice and peaceful weekend.  Last week was pure craziness here, but what else is new?  I was running around like a chicken with her head cut off.  Between crazy work schedules, homeschooling,  youth group, our small group at church, softball practice, softball game and nice big beginning of the month grocery shopping adventure~ I am exhausted.  I am very thankful that this week is slowing down :)  No youth group, no small group and no softball game.  I will take it and hopefully be able to catch up on a little bit of sleep~ I hope :)

When trying to figure out our menu plan for April, I asked the boys for their input,  They insisted on having a bean month.  We haven't had one in a while and our grocery budget could sure use it :)  Let's see if we can pull it off :)

Here is our menu plan for this week:

Breakfast
Cheerios with raisins and strawberries X2
Applesauce muffins with fruit X2
Pancakes with fruit X2
Oatmeal with nuts and raisins

Lunch
Salad with homemade ranch dressing and a banana for myself and hubby when he is home
Sandwich with carrots and grapes for everyone else or leftovers

Dinner
Lentil Loaf, mashed potatoes and green beans
Lentil burgers with carrots, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes
Lentil & Sausage Soup
Lentil tacos with zuchinni
Lentil & Rice Casserole with green beans
Lentil meatballs with mashed potatoes and peas
Lentil Sloppy Joes with corn

Snacks and desserts
Apples slices
Carrots
Cucumbers
Bananas
Grapes
Popcorn
Strawberries
