Our Menu Plan for the week of 08/27/2018

How was your weekend?

It would seem the boys have hit a growth spurt.  They get dressed and I saw a whole lot of tummy :(  I am very thankful to live in an area that they can pretty much wear shorts year round.  But their shirts are a different story.  They needed clothes but there is not much wiggle room in the budget.  I gave each of the boys $10 and we visited 3 thrift stores in our area.  To my surprise the boys have a  good time and enjoyed the hunt :)  They did really well and ended up spending $17 for 7 shirts total :)

Here is our menu plan for this week:

Breakfast
Baked Oatmeal with fruit X2
Banana Pancakes with fruit X2
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip muffins with fruit X2
Bagels with fruit

Lunch
Egg Avocado salad and fruit for me
Sandwich with carrots, apple slices, blueberries and strawberries for everyone else or leftovers

Dinner
Baked Chicken, potatoes, green beans and salad
Tacos with carrots and salad
Chicken Fried Rice with the leftover chicken and a salad
Nachos with homemade cashew cheese, carrots and a salad
Breakfast for Dinner- Scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage links and fruit
Homemade Pizza, salad and Movie night
Garlic Lemon Chicken Thighs with rice, corn and salad

Snacks and Desserts
Apples
Grapes
Bananas
Strawberries
Carrots
Popcorn
Pretzels
Tortilla Chips with salsa
Chocolate PB Nice Cream
Rice Cakes with PB
Celery with PB and raisin
Chia Pudding
