Time for a break :)

With the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is easy to get lost in the go go go mentality. Toss in a hurricane, all the headache that goes with that, add a broken air conditioner, plus meetings and tons of paperwork~ I am drained physically, emotionally and mentally.

We have decided we need a break from everything and want to reconnect as a family, reconnect in our marriage and just spend some good ole fashion family time together without distractions :)

Our Menu Plan for the week of 10/09/2022

What was supposed to be a tropical storm turned into a full-blown hurricane and tornado that ripped through our county.  I am so grateful that a mandatory evacuation was put into place for our area and that we listened and evacuated.  I have talked with several people that stayed and was told that this was the worst hurricane they had ever been in and that they wished they had left.  I am so blessed that we have family that allowed us to stay with them until it was safe to return home.  I am so happy that we have a house to come back to.  We lost some shingles; our trees and shrubs took a beating, and a tree crushed our well water lines. But all can be fixed. And it did give me the perfect opportunity to clean out, scrub the fridge and defrost the freezer :)
